Curse

There was a low grumbling thunder, building up not exploding and peeling. We were in a narrow hallway, a building with a window at the end of the corridor... things started flying in through the window, simple things like books and dishes... But they hit us hard tearing through anything we put up as a defence. We ran for the stairs and outside, but we weren't on a bottom floor we were further up, a balcony with benches. We jumped to the street and massive chunks of building fell to the ground, tearing the balconies off like paper. Though not hot, it was as if all the buildings around us were melting and crumbling down to the street. People screamed but there was no where to run, chaos was everywhere.

Then all the sound stopped... everything was solid and unmoving again. The ground was swarming with insects, mostly ants. They congregated together and formed the shape of a massive black footprint, the footprint of Grenth, and slowly dispersed until the footprint shrank to nothing and I woke up.

I could kick myself for not having written down my dream as soon as I woke up. So many details were lost, the emotion now only remembered and not felt.

actually, the footprint was more of a symbol formed by ants after all the crazy destruction... And the dream seemed of no relation to guildwars till the footprint came and I knew (in that dream-madness awareness) that it was the footprint of Grenth.

My GW dream I had a while back was about being in a mission that involved bodyguarding Rurik while he was having some dinner inside Augury Rock. Then, for some reason, returning to pre-searing Ascalon wiht my lvl20 ranger, fighting some lizards there, and then finding out that Tyria is in fact a large theme park with a motorway nearby. Yeah, I watched the motorway from somewhere near Green Hills County

My subconsciousness is wonderfully random at times.
